What is Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS)?
It is a CMS’ MACBIS critical data component. The T-MSIS data set contains Medicaid and CHIP beneficiary data. Since 2012, states and territories have been transitioning from MSIS to T-MSIS for the purpose of data submission.
