What is National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP)?
This refers to a DSMO or Standards Maintenance Organization designated by HIPAA for finalizing the transactions of HIPAA. It takes the responsibility of continued maintenance and development of the standards of NCPDP for messaging of pharmacy services.
