FQHC or Federally Qualified Health Center refers to non-profit funded health clinics or centers that serve underserved populations and areas medically. Federally qualified health centers provide primary services of healthcare regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. The FQHC services are provided on a sliding scale fee based on the ability of a patient to pay.
