An Emergency Mode Operation (EMO) plan is a plan that comes under the disaster recovery plan to support ongoing operations during an emergency. As a part of this plan, the documentation would include the guidelines for the cases of emergency and crisis management, the procedure to ensure integrity, and also the procedure to safeguard the confidentiality of PHI.
