What is Electronic Medical Records (EMR)?

EMR or Electronic Medical Records are the digital versions of paper charts in hospitals, clinics and clinician offices. They contain information and notes collected for and by the clinicians in that clinic, office or hospital and are used mostly by providers for treatment or diagnosis.
