What is Consolidated Health Informatics (CHI) Initiative?
It is an initiative to enable the creation and adoption of health informatics by the Department of Health & Human Services (HSS), the Department of Veteran Affairs, and other federal departments. The aim of using these standards is to encourage formal data collection and management to ease interoperability between various Health Information Technology (HIT) systems.
